Classes In Team Fortress 2- Part Two

The support class is arguably the most important class on Team Fortress 2. These are found working all over the map to keep your front running scouts running. Support also keep the heavy stocked and ready.

The medic is an important part of Team Fortress 2 not seen on CSS servers. The syringe launcher is the medic's main weapon. Just as powerful, the Medi Gun is his secondary. Finally, his melee weapon is the Bone Saw.

The medic is the main healer on TF2 servers You should therefore find any good medic on the front line healing the scouts and solders. Their job is in healing there fellow comrades but also trying to stay out of the firing line as much as possible. The medic's weapons are only mediocre as he should be focused on healing players using his medigun. By shooting an ally with the medigun, the medic will receive a bonus of 150% on his own health. However if the medic stops healing then the players bonus health will slowly degenerate back to normal. This bonus is known as over healing and the charge bar will fill and once this is full the medic can make himself and an ally invulnerable for up to 10 seconds. This perk works best with a heavy who is hammering a base to bits for a prolonged period. If you like helping your friends on Team Fortress 2 servers, then the medic is for you.

It will come as no surprise that the Sniper's main weapon is the sniper rifle. For his secondary weapon, he carries a sub machine. Finally, his melee weapon is a machete. The Sniper is very difficult to target, as by the time you have, he's taken you out from long range. If you like hanging back and picking off targets from distance, you'll enjoy the Sniper class. The sniper works best if you are able to find the best spot. Once you have found a good spot, you can take out targets with ease. The Sniper is also effective for taking out the Medic that is supporting the heavy. Even better as it allows the rest of your guys who are on the ground to take him down and advance up the map. Staying scoped in on your target for longer will increase the power of your shot. This is indicated by an expanding laser scope. Don't however expect to take out targets at short range with the Sniper. Also, even though you also have an SMG don't expect much from that either unless its close range, but something is better than nothing in an all else fails situation. If you're the type that likes taking an enemy scalp from 400 paces then the sniper is waiting.

The spy is the James bond of Team Fortress 2 servers, using a cloak and disguises to blend in and sneak behind the enemy lines. With the butterfly knife he can take out foes in one smooth movement. However, be aware this move isn't instant. If you move out of range you can be spotted. The spy cannot use any of his weapons whilst cloaked and so will lose his current disguise if he uses anything but the electro sapper. The electro sapper is used to take out engineer's buildings, disabling them and slowly destroying them. Thus it is best to place the sapper and then take out the engineer as the sapper can be removed with just two whacks of the engineers wrench. Remember, when you can see a spy's discuise, he's frendly. So if you fancy yourself as the next 007 then pick up a disguise and get infiltrating!
